Where is CSC located?
We are located at 31 North Buona Vista Road, Singapore 275983. You may travel to CSC via the following modes of public transport:
- by MRT, alight at CC22/EW21 Buona Vista MRT Station and take a 5min walk to CSC.
- by MRT, alight at CC21 Holland Village MRT Station and take a 10min walk to CSC.
- by bus services 32, 48, 74, 74e, 91, 145, 185, 191, 200, alight at the bus stop at Blk 46 Holland Drive and take a 3min walk to CSC.
- by bus services 32, 74, 74e, 91, 95, 100, 105, 111, 145, 147, 185, 191, 196, 198 and 200, alight at the bus stop at Blk 43 along Commonwealth Ave and take a 4min walk to CSC.
Can I park my car at CSC?
Yes, you can park at our basement car park. There are 50 lots allocated to visitors of CSC.
What are the parking charges?
Participants who are attending courses at CSC may wish to park at the car park located at the building's basement. The parking charges are as follows:

Is there a cash card top-up machine in CSC?
Yes, there is a top up station next to the Security Counter on Level 1.
Is there wireless connection within CSC?
Yes, CSC offers wireless connection throughout the whole premises. Please approach our Customer Service staff on Level 1 for assistance.
Is there a nursing room in CSC?
Yes, our nursing room is located on Level 1. To use the nursing room, please approach the Security Counter or the Customer Service Counter for assistance.
How do I get a copy of your Training Directory?
Please join our mailing list by emailing us at email@example.com. Should you wish to receive our latest Training Directory, a copy can be mailed to you upon email request. Alternatively, you can also request a copy of this at the Customer Service Counter on Level 1.
How do I submit feedback?

How do I register for a course?
There are two different ways to register for a course:
If you are a Learning@Gov user, please register through Learning@Gov.
- Online Registration
You may also register for courses by clicking on the 'Register' button on the individual programme pages. Your training coordinator will be notified of your registration. Upon approval by your training coordinator, CSC will process your registration. When your online application is successful, you will receive a confirmation note via the email address provided in the application form. Please note that the confirmation note is not a Course Placement Letter. We will send you a Course Placement Letter once your registration is successful.
How long do you take to process my application?
Once you have registered for a course, a registration acknowledgement will be sent to you. If you are successfully selected and placed on the course, a Course Placement Letter will be sent to you 3 weeks prior to your course commencement. The respective course administrator will inform you if your registration is unsuccessful.
How do I cancel a course that I have registered for?
You can email or call the respective course administrator to cancel your registration 3 weeks prior to the course commencement. Any cancellation after this will incur a withdrawal fee equivalent to 25% of the course fee.
Can I send a person/colleague to replace me? How should I go about doing this?
Yes, your colleague is able to take your place at no extra charge. Please contact the respective course administrator and provide him or her with your replacement's name, NRIC and department at least one day before the course.
Can I pay the course fee by cheque?
Yes, please make the cheque out to 'Civil Service College' and send it to our mailing address at least 1 week before the date of the course.
How far in advance do I have to submit an application for a course?
Please submit your application at least 1 month before the date of the course.

The following FAQs apply only to the "Mastering the Telephone Service Skill", "Responsiveness in Frontline Customer Service" and "Managing the Purchasing Function" competency tests.
What is the format for the tests?
The test consists of 50 multiple choice and True/False questions.
"Managing the Purchasing Function" competency test is an open book test and participants may bring in their course materials. Participants will also be granted access to the intranet during the test.
What is the duration of the test?
Participants will be given 1 hour for the "Mastering the Telephone Service Skill" and "Responsiveness in Frontline Customer Service" tests and 1.5 hours for the "Managing the Purchasing Function" test.
When and where will the tests be held?
The tests for "Mastering the Telephone Service Skill" and "Responsiveness in Frontline Customer Service" will be held on the second day of the class. Participants taking "Managing the Purchasing Function" will be informed separately of their test dates after the course. All three tests will be held in CSC.
Can I change the test date that I am scheduled for? (Only applicable to "Managing the Purchasing Function" competency test)
Yes, you can. Please email Ms Jessamine Seah at email@example.com or contact her at 6874 1763 if you wish to reschedule your test date.
Will there be a penalty if I decide to withdraw from the test? (Only applicable to "Managing the Purchasing Function" competency test)
If you decide to withdraw from the test, please inform Ms Jessamine Seah at firstname.lastname@example.org or contact her at 6874 1763 before the deadline indicated on the test placement letter. Otherwise, the full course fee will be charged.
When will I be notified of my test results?
You will be notified within one month after the test date. Your results will be sent to you and your training coordinator via email.
Will I be informed of the actual score that I have attained in the test?
You will only be informed of whether you have passed or failed the test in the notification letter sent via email. Your actual score will not be revealed in the letter.
Will I receive a certificate for passing the test?
You will not receive a certificate for passing the test.
Do I need to re-take the test if I fail?
Please check with your training coordinator or supervisor on whether you need to re-take the test.
