Policy Development in Practice Case Studies
The world around us imposes social, economic, physical and other conditions that can create vexing problems for citizens. Public policies are therefore statements of government intention to meet the needs of the citizenry; public policy development can then be described as the course of action taken by government to meet a public need. These case studies captured the processes and issues as the policies were being developed, and are used in milestone programmes of the Institute of Policy Development and Institute of Public Administration and Management.
