| Synopsis |
: |
Facilitators play an important role in influencing the way their learners learn. It is important that facilitators are attuned to the factors shaping their attitudes towards teaching and learning as well as the learners’ responses. Awareness of the learners’ needs, motivation, interests and expectations also need to be considered to facilitate learning.
Accelerated Learning incorporates the arts and music, a sense of play and experimentation, simulations, improvisation, stories and metaphors. An Accelerated Learning based training programme takes into consideration how each person learns and offers them the opportunities to stretch and develop in a safe learning environment. Accelerated Learning offers a structure and template to design learning programmes and facilitate in a way that improves each learner’s learning.
The Institute of Public Administration and Management, Civil Service College, is pleased to present the course “Learning Beyond Limits through Accelerated Learning” to make learning more effective for both individuals and their organisations.
