Mr Matthew Harrington

Matthew Harrington leads global operations for Edelman, the world’s largest independent public relations firm. Specifically, Matthew oversees Edelman’s four regions – the United States, Europe/Middle East/Africa, Asia-Pacific, and Canada/Latin America. A 21-year Edelman veteran, Matthew is a specialist in corporate positioning and reputation management. His expertise includes crisis communications, merger and acquisition activity and initial public offerings. Currently, Matthew provides corporate and/or issues management counsel to a range of clients, including, GE, Charles Schwab & Company, Samsung and Starbucks.

Mr Geoff Wilson
President, International Association for Public Participation and Director of Citizen Engagement, Capital Health
Geoff Wilson is the Director of Citizen Engagement for Capital Health in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. He has nearly two decades of public sector communications expertise, including issues management, stakeholder and media relations, and risk communications. Active in both his local and professional communities, Geoff is serving his second term as president of the International Association for Public Participation. He has served on the board of the Health Care Public Relations Association of Canada, and the Halifax Community Health Board, and on local advocacy and municipal advisory committees in his home town of Halifax.
